We’re just hours from the 2018 Fashion Awards and leading up until today, there’s been a slew of hints as to what to expect from the evening.

Set to take place in London, the Fashion Awards will be honouring Vivienne Westwood and Miuccia Prada, and now there’s been a sneak peek at the nominees for the debut ‘New Wave: Creatives’ category.

100 young finalists have been chosen from the industry ranging from hair and makeup artists to set designers, creative directors, models, digital influencers and stylists from around the world.

This year, the list includes some of the industry’s biggest names including models Kaia Gerber, Anok Yai, Hari Nef, Vittoria Ceretti, Adut Akech, filmmaker Akinola Davies, influencer Caroline Daur, stylist Hye Yeon Han, DJ Peggy Gou and many others.

According to Fashion Network, the British Fashion Council’s Chief Executive, Caroline Rush, said: “The list includes an incredible mixture of young creative talent from all over the world and by introducing this new category at The Fashion Awards in Partnership with Swarovski we aim to shine a light on the next generation of global talent. London, more than any other city, represents youth and creativity, which makes it the perfect place to acknowledge their contribution to the global fashion industry.

The annual Fashion Awards will take place later tonight so make sure you watch this space to find out the full list of winners.
