Red carpet: The 2016 Screen Actors Guild Awards

Last night saw Hollywood's finest step out in glamorous style for the 22nd Annual Actors Screen Choice Awards in Los Angeles. The SAG awards is an on going tradition, which celebrates and recognises the best in film and television from the past year.
This year, Leonardo DiCaprio took home the award for 'outstanding performance by a male actor in a leading role' for his work in The Revenant, while Brie Larson took the award for 'outstanding performance by a female actor in a leading role' for her role in Room. As well, Spotlight was the evening's 'outstanding performance by a cast in a motion picture' winner.
On the television side, Orange Is the New Black won in the comedy category along with Downtown Abbey for drama, beating fellow nominees Mad Men and Homeland. Game of Thrones took the award for 'outstanding action performance by a stunt ensemble in a comedy or drama series'. Kevin Spacey won 'outstanding performance by a male actor in a drama series' for his work in House of Cards and 'outstanding performance by a female actor in a drama series' was taken home by Viola Davis for her work in How to Get Away With Murder.
Other wins on the night included Idris Elba for 'outstanding performance by a male actor in a supporting role' in Beasts of No Nation and Alicia Vikander for 'outstanding performance by a female actor in a supporting role' for her work in The Danish Girl.
