First look: T by Alexander Wang Autumn/Winter 15
With a faint flicker of déjà vu the silhouettes featured in Alexander Wang's new 'T' collection for Autumn/Winter 15 are slightly reminiscent of the abstract collection previewed at the Brooklyn Navy Yard last year. Known for his frequent use of blacks and grey tones, Wang injects this season's collection with life by incorporating vibrant reds, blues, greens and yellows.
The new sassy sportswear line-up for the modern-day woman includes many covetable pieces such as a relaxed, scarlet oversized pantsuit, a chic green outfit with leather shorts and a yellow trench coat that looks like it could have been pulled of the back of an old lighthouse resident, it is a refreshing switch up.
Fleece jackets also appear in acidic yellow and florescent pink with scuba-inspired leather separates and fisherman style sweaters all with neon detailing. Meanwhile, a smart blazer features a zipped middle – allowing for it to be worn two-ways: Short or full in length.
