The StyleBop.com x Mugler dinner in honour of David Koma's appointment to Mugler
Munchies in Munich
Following a successful debut this September in Paris, Stylebop.com hosted an intimate dinner in Munich to celebrate David Koma’s appointment as artistic director of Mugler. The celebratory dinner was held at a venue befitting of the minimal label – Neue Pinakothek, Munich’s museum of art.

The host for the evening was Stylebop.com CEO Mario Eimuth, flanked by fashion director Leila Yavari. Joining the guest of honour was Muglier’s Virginie Courtin-Clarins who is thrilled about the collaboration with Stylebop.com: “We’re really happy that we can present our guests with the ‘new Mugler’. With David Koma as Artistic Director we’re showing a fresh Mugler woman: still strong, independent and feminine, but more modern and more urban. We’re proud of the collaboration with a partner like Stylebop.com, and we’re happy to bring the brand to Germany.”

A select guest list of 80 attendees from the world of fashion, art and media came out to toast Koma’s appointment to the label and its collaboration with Stylebop.com, including model and artist Tali Lennox, singer, songwriter, and great-granddaughter to Diana, Caroline Vreeland, and Paris it-girl Jeanne Damas.

“It was a wonderful evening with interesting guests, and was a splendid pre-Christmas party!” Said Koma of the dinner held in his honour. Now commuting between London and Paris for his new role, he shared: “Half of the week I’m in Paris, the other half I’m in London where I’m still working for my own label.”
He also spoke about the identity of Mugler, “Mugler is minimalistic, clear and modern but is simultaneously sensual and strong” he explained. He looks forward to the new collection being available on Stylebop.com insisting “Online Shopping is the future. No, it’s not the future, it’s already a reality. I’m already doing most of my shopping on the internet.”
