Style.com announce that is it shutting down its print issue
Back to the Internet
The quarterly magazine Style.com/Print was first published in 2012, when the business was still a part of Fashion Fairchild Media.
An official statement by a Condé Nast representative has stated that the decision was made because of Style.com's increased digital traffic. "Since relaunch in early September, the site continues to exceed growth expectations," the official email statement read. "To continue that momentum, we've made the decision to focus 100% of our efforts on our core digital business."
Condé Nast sold Fairchild earlier this year in August, Style.com was not a part of the deal and was incorporated under a new leadership structure under the Vogue umbrella – launching with a redesign makeover in September. The website has since been governed by Anna Wintour's direction, as part of her new role as Condé Nast's creative director.
