Milan Fashion Week: Tod's Spring/Summer 15
When it's not busy restoring historical Italian landmarks, Tod's is clearly hard at work creating incredibly wearable Spring/Summer collections.
With a selection of cool, perforated shirts and tops that looked neither too sporty or too fussy, a relaxed, chic pyjama type style walked the runway. Relaxed, slightly rumpled suits and wide short pants stood firmly against cute leather dresses and jackets, with details sewn onto the leather in modest monochrome colours.
It made a clear point that when it comes to clothes, especially in Italy where often the most voluptuous and feminine silhouettes are the preference – they can, and should, emphasise not not just figure, but an attitude to life in general. Cool and carefree.
