Paris Fashion Week: Rochas Spring/Summer 15

Feeling pretty

A whimsical display of sheer skirts, preppy collars, peplums and feather fringed hemlines made up the collection for Rochas Spring/Summer 15

For Alessandro dell' Acqua's move on from last season, the SS15 collection for Rochas is a veritable mash-up of femininity. Working with the "youthful heart of this label" in his mind, he showed girly florals, Spring-friendly prints and embroidery over organza on sheer coats, blouses and full skirts, both knee and at full-length.

Digital, geometric Chantilly lace and broderie made the cliche modern and the silhouettes of shift dresses and dropped waists had a 20s aura about them. There were also obi-style belts worn high and almost geisha-like from behind, as well as metallic micro-sequins were made into cropped jackets and swing coats, an American varsity 'R' featured as a crest... And it all came together in a selection of super pretty pieces that we want, now.
