London Fashion Week: Paul Smith Spring/Summer 15
Using a sun-bleached colour palette and materials which gestured towards desert landscapes, Paul Smith unveiled a lineup that channeled a more feminine mood that his usual tomboyish approach.
Panels of sheer silk on skirts, loose blouses and T-shirts gave a touch of glamour to looks that were borrowed from the men's department. However, Smith's trademark androgyny was more clearly found across bib fronts, baggy trousers, and oversized shorts.
Bold stripes in blue, orange and rose pink were also a recurring motif, printed on relaxed cotton jackets and shirtdresses, while models wore flat sandals in white or black, keeping the audiences attention directed towards the clothes.
