New York Fashion Week: Marc by Marc Jacobs Spring/Summer 15

Following on from their well-received debut for AW14, Katie Hillier and Luella Bartley have infused Marc by Marc Jacobs with a young, fierce attitude that's showing no signs of slowing down. Even from the set, a triangular light installation in the dark open space of Pier 94, which was loud with hardcore bass music.

The pair liked the idea of the freedom of that rave culture, and looked to it as a direct inspiration. "Taking something like a filthy, disused warehouse and turning it into this church of youth." They explained. And so make way for cropped T-shirts layered under a plastic, pastel-blue polka-dot bandeau and matching skirts, hair twists into a mohawk of mini-buns – and a lot of fun.
