Frida Giannini took a decidedly relaxed tone today in Milan, showing a collection of denim, distressed military jackets and muted prints for SS15

Uniforms seem to be a recurring theme this season with the major players, with today seeing Gucci take the lead with opening looks contained of sharp canvas-esq A-line dresses and neckerchiefs, with shiny gold buttons included, followed by cowboy and Red Indian business full of feathery fur gilets and denim handkerchief tops with drawstring necklines.

A palette of muted, dull red, burnt oranges, sky and powder blue gave way to forrest green, heavy cotton dresses and seventies styling. Chunky-heeled shoes were a standout addition to the looks, and by the time the sequins and delicately floral patterned dresses appeared towards the end, slashed to the navel, we feel in more 'familiar' Gucci territory.
