New York Fashion Week: Delpozo Spring/Summer 15

He'll sell sea shells

Paying homage to the 19th century glass creations of Leopold and Rudolf Blaschka and embellishing pieces with seashells, Delpozo impresses again with its SS15 collection

Delpozo Creative Director Josep Font explored volume, proportion and illusion for Spring/Summer 15. There were exaggerated, sporty silhouettes from the outset and wide red culotte pants paired with a cool white bandeau top, plus full skirts white, navy and green.

The mood changed slightly towards the end of the show into more sculptural pieces inspired by the land art of Nils-Udo, including a yellow top with an exaggerated peplum and a sculpted flower on the bodice, and a miniskirt with origami-type panels. Inspiring stuff.
