Rodarte teams up with Universal Standard on second-ever high street collaboration
Fashion for all
Inclusive fashion is officially on its way to becoming mainstream, and this latest collaboration is proof.
The brand has previously teamed up with J. Crew and Goop on capsules, but working with Laura and Kate Mulleavy marks the first time it has tapped a luxury label. Plus, this is only the second-ever high street collection Rodarte has designed following its Target collection in 2009.
The collection is comprised of a long-sleeve blouse, skirt, full-length jumpsuit and dress, each of which is aesthetically Rodarte — think bows, ruffles and a feminine colour palette.

Alexandra Waldman, the Co-Founder and Creative Director of Universal Standard, spoke to Fashionista about the collection, saying, "It took a little bit of time to work everything out because obviously we wanted to use our micro-grading to make sure it fit all women across the entire 00-40 size range; the designs are purely [Kate and Laura's], as are the colour choices. It's very different from Universal Standard and it's one of those things that we're delighted to bring to our consumer."
