Prada presents display in celebration of 'The Grand Budapest Hotel'
Exclusive vintage inspired luggage
With earlier reports on Buro 24/7 Middle East that a viral website had been launched to build anticipation for the release of The Grand Budapest Hotel, director Wes Anderson has gone one step further to boost the film's profile with the help of Miuccia Prada.
In Berlin, where The Grand Budapest Hotel made its premiere at The Berlin International Film Festival yesterday, Prada has created a window display at two of its stores to celebrate the movie premiere.
Exclusive custom-made suitcases and trunks that have been designed for two of the main characters in the film, played by Tilda Swinton and Ralph Fiennes, are on display at the Berlin stores.
The exclusive pieces have been inspired by Prada's own vintage collection from the 1920s and 30s - and feature initials of the film characters in 1920s style created by the artist Mieke Casal.
