Prada is heading to New York for its Cruise '19 show
The show will take place on May 4
The announcements on where the Cruise '19 shows by some of the world's coveted labels will be held have begun. Earlier this week, we came to learn that Louis Vuitton will be staying local for its Cruise '19 show by taking over the French Riviera on May 28 and that Gucci has secured May 30 for its Cruise '19 collection to be showcased at the Alyscamps Roman Necropolis in Arles, France.
Now, news has emerged that Miuccia Prada will be taking the fash pack across the globe to showcase her Cruise '19 collection for Prada in New York.
Whilst details of the location are still unknown (watch this space), we can expect a spectacular showcase following Prada's most recent ready-to-wear show during Milan Fashion Week.
Last season, the Italian fashion house opted to showcase their first dedicated resort collection in Milan's Fondazione Prada Osservatorio in Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II (one of the world's largest shopping malls) and the show's front row was filled with familiar faces from the industry.
Prada's Cruise '19 show will take place on May 4, 2018. In other brand news, find out more details about the venue Prada chose to showcase its F/W'18 collection.
