'The Iconoclasts' by Prada returns with Edward Enninful
Blurring the lines between art, culture and fashion
A concept originally launched in 2009 with the help of four fashion stylists – Katie Grand, Alex White, Carine Roitfeld and Olivier Rizzo – 'The Iconoclasts' features four Prada flagship stores in four of the world's fashion capitals.
Now, with the exciting return of the project for 2014, Prada has sought the expertise of W magazine's fashion and style director Edward Enninful, who will begin by transforming the look of Prada men's and women's boutiques on the most glamorous street in Milan, Via Montenapoleone.
Inspired by the Harlem Renaissance — a cultural movement in the United Sates during the 1920s — Enninful will create two different atmospheres for the stores, each decorated with black and white mannequins adorned in Prada vintage designs and the house's spring collection.
Both retail outlets will share a lively ambience, with the womens boutique taking on the look of a 20s club, with lounge areas and art deco furniture.
