Pippa Middleton turns fashion designer for charitable collaboration
With Tabitha Webb
Pippa Middleton, the younger sister of the Duchess of Cambridge, is stepping into the fashion spotlight with a new charitable collaboration with designer, Tabitha Webb, in support of the British Heart Foundation (BFH), a charity that Middleton is patron of.
The pair has teamed up to design a dress and scarf that will go on sale in Tabitha Webb's Belgravia boutique in London, as well as her online store. The proceeds from sales will go to the BFH.
The end result is a summary soft floral print in pink, purple and red adorning a silk cap-sleeved tea dress, which will retail at £295 and a lightweight modal and cashmere scarf, that bears the same print, which will retail at £95.
Middleton commented that with the design project, she had "wanted to do something different and exciting on behalf of this inspiring charity." She will also be taking part in the epic London to Brighton bike-ride in the name of the BHF later this month.
