Introducing 'Jessica'

"Attractive people doing attractive things in attractive places" was the Slim Aarons quote plastered across Alessandra Rich's collection notes for Spring/Summer 15 – and we can see why the vintage society photographer's words resonated

Exploring a mythical muse named 'Jessica', Rich thought about a girl who, "gets up late in the morning, puts on her jewellery and dives into the pool." She's definitely a lady of leisure, she's definitely attractive – and she's most definitely doing attractive things.

The line up for Spring/Summer 15 naturally stars Rich's bread and butter aesthetic at the core – beautiful, from-another-era, full-length eveningwear, but also interestingly, more casual looks – such as a surprising jeans and shirt combo – to pepper the collection. Standout looks include a spectacular ivory fringed gown that wouldn't have looked out of place on the dancefloor at Studio 54, and exquisite lace pieces embroidered with pockets and floral print trimmings, instantly juxtaposing the 'over-glam' with something a little more sober.
