Paris Fashion Week: Chloé Autumn/Winter 14
Put it in neutral
Dresses in folded layers of chiffon and drop-panelled skirts embodied the essence of a more traditional Chloé woman – while fur with tangled fringing and padded leathers added interest to the catwalk in Paris last night.
"For me it was really looking at a different kind of girl, she was a bit more wild, a bit more mysterious," British designer Claire Waight Keller said backstage, "It was really a play on the idea of the Chloé femininity but in a more mysterious sense and I really liked the idea of bringing that sort of spirit and attitude into the fabrics too," she added.
Other stand out looks for Autumn/Winter 14's move on from last season include elegant wrap coats, long column dresses in georgette fabrication, and culottes teamed with knee-high suede boots. A smattering of prints came in the shape of shadow dots and geometric shapes.
