Paris wax museum to open new fashion section featuring Cara Delevingne, Inès de la Fressange and more
Wax fashion icons
Grévin Paris, the well known wax work museum, is preparing to unveil its new fashion section on December 15. Aptly joining a space which also features a ‘spirit of Paris’ section, will be an area dedicated exclusively to fashion, which is in itself is part of the spirit of Paris.
The newly designed section will feature life-size models of industry figures including Cara Delevingne, Inès de la Fressange, Coco Rocha and Chantal Thomass. The baroque interiors of the famous museum have been redesigned by Dick Walsh and Julien Bertevas to give a catwalk feel, which incorporates black and white backdrops displaying iconic photography as well as film footage by Ali Mahdavi.
Visitors of the new exhibit will feel as though they are front row at Paris Fashion Week, albeit in the company of some fellow unlikely historical figures...
