Opening Ceremony’s duo teams up with Intel to develop a wearable and aesthetically pleasing bracelet

Intel's CEO Brian Krzanich announced at this weeks CES 2014 in Las Vegas the corporations new plan to develop a functional technology accessory. Collaborating with designer's Humberto Leon and Carol Lim from Opening Ceremony the aim is to create a fashionable yet practical bracelet. Intel has contacted Barney's and they will be selling the forthcoming wristband in their stores.

Humberto Leon commented: "If you look at how people operate today, they use so many devices and applications. I think (wearable technology) is the next step in terms of how people interact. Your phone is generally by your side, but you don't always get the chance to look at it, so I think this product is a natural progression."

They have teased us with the lack of information they have released about the function but we are already excited about the prospects.
