No. 21 to open first boutique in Japan
Time for Tokyo
Founded by designer Alessandro Dell'Acqua, No. 21 will open a store in Tokyo's prestigious Omotesando district on Thursday. The boutique is spread over 1,830-square-foot and will carry the brand's ready-to-wear and accessories for men and women.
The new store was designed by architect Hannes Peer, who has created a fittingly eclectic atmosphere by mixing contrasting materials and styles.
"I'm very satisfied with the opening of my first No. 21 boutique. It's an extremely important result reflecting the growth of the brand," Dell'Acqua said. "Japan has always been one of the biggest markets for No. 21, so it came natural to open the first boutique in Tokyo. People here are strongly passionate about fashion, research and Made in Italy products."
