New York Fashion Week: Vera Wang Autumn/Winter 14
Channeling a certain dark romance, Vera Wang – famous for her beautiful bridal designs – acked her news season RTW collection full of smart, wearable pieces.
"I was thinking dark romantic but with a kind of strength to the sensuality," Wang said after her show, continuing "there's always a bit of the tomboy. I wanted a very deliberate mix."
With a focus on plaid, a large-scale tartan, charcoal and black, the collection covered sweaters, tweed coats and satin pyjama pants, followed by eveningwear that included tulle gowns full of gothic glamour.
