The New York City Ballet collaborate with Peter Copping, Opening Ceremony and more
The fashion class of 2015 revealed
Last summer we unveiled Sarah Burton, Mary Katrantzou and Valentino's bespoke designs for the New York City Ballet (NYCB), and now we can reveal that the iconic production has partnered up with Oscar de la Renta’s Peter Copping, Marques Almeida’s Marta Marques and Paulo Almeida, Opening Ceremony’s Humberto Leon and Carol Lim, Adeam’s Hanako Maeda, and Zuhair Murad for 2015.
Four of the five performances on this year's schedule were created by young choreographers including: Canadian Robert Binet (who was paired with Adeam), San Francisco Ballet dancer Myles Thatcher (Zuhair Murad), New York City Ballet corps de ballet member Troy Schumacher (Marques Almeida), and NYCB soloist and choreographer-in-residence Justin Peck (Opening Ceremony).
Stay tuned for a closer look at the designs – coming to Buro 24/7 Middle East soon...
