All change

The Kering group has appointed new chief executive officers at Bottega Veneta and Christopher Kane, as part of a management reshuffle in its luxury division

We have learned that Carlo Alberto Beretta will take over as CEO of Bottega Veneta as of January. Beretta is a graduate from Bocconi University in Milan, and joins the fashion house from Ermenegildo Zegna, where he has spent the last eleven years, and has previously worked at Valentino and La Rinascente.

Meanwhile, Sarah Crook has been named CEO of label Christopher Kane, effective from next month. She succeeds Alexandre de Brettes and will also report to to Marco Bizzarri, former CEO of Bottega and now CEO of Kering luxury couture and leather division. De Brettes will stay at the company to oversee the handover before taking up another position within the group.
