On the road: Discover the new Autumn/Winter 15 Bedouin collection
Journey through the Nevada desert
Our favourite 'fashion without boarders' brand – Bedouin – draws inspiration from a far flung desert for the Autumn/Winter 15 'On The Road' collection. It's the magic of the Nevada Desert that sets the scene for this transitional collection that journeys seamlessly from day to night.
Step one of this liberating journey begins with the Daybreak dress with its soft grey scuba bodice that features cut work detail and raw edge panels combined with a white lose fit skirt with splits, exhibiting perfectly the brand's ethos of freedom. The Rodeo fringe motif adorns a pair of Studio 54 inspired trousers, a nod to the equestrian pursuits native to Nevada, and a chic and playful embellishment.
Moving to the dusky hues of night fall comes the star motif on the Starry Eyed tee and Chase the Moonlight metallic skirt with more freedom fringe hems and loose movement silhouettes.
Buro 24/7 Middle East managed to take an exclusive behind the scenes peek at the lookbook shoot (which we share in the gallery below) for the new season's collection as well as speak to designer, Andraya Farrag, about her inspiration: "Encouraging 'Style Without Borders' Bedouin is designed with the contemporary jet setter in mind. Each season is inspired by a travel destination and for AW15, the On The Road collection was inspired by a journey from day to night through the Nevada desert. The timeless silhouettes have accents of the rodeo with multiple fringed items as well as star embroidery. Our mission is to create versatile, go-to pieces giving women more opportunity for spontaneity."
The collection which you can see in greater detail via the gallery below is now available at Harvey Nichols, Dubai. Andraya elaborates: "I feel so blessed to be part of the Harvey Nichols pop-up, it is an invaluable platform to showcase the new collection and I am very grateful to the team and everyone that I work with for working so hard to make it happen. It will be a really proud moment for all of us."
