Net-a-Porter unveils its largest Ramadan capsule collection edit to date
17 designers in total
Ramadan is just over one month away from beginning, meaning 30 days of fasting and reflection are on the horizon. So too, are numerous iftars and suhoors. The number of outfits needed for such occasions seems to increase every year, so imagine our delight upon learning that e-commerce giant Net-a-Porter is releasing its largest ever Ramadan capsule collection edit ever this month.
This year, Net-a-Porter is launching 17 exclusive capsule collections to celebrate the Holy Month. The full line-up of designers includes Dundas, Rasario, Reem Acra, Mary Katrantzou, Haider Ackermann, Jenny Packham, Oscar de la Renta, Naeem Khan, Ralph & Russo, SAFiYAA, Etro, Carolina Herrera, Marchesa, Marchesa Notte, Galvan, Louisa Parris and Talbot Runhof. Plus, fine jewellery brands like Anissa Kermiche, Buccellati and Selim Mouzannar feature in the dedicated campaign (which was shot in Morocco and stars model Saffron Vadher).
Speaking of the capsule, Elizabeth von der Goltz, the Global Buying Director of Net-a-Porter, said that "interest in special pieces designed specifically for Ramadan alongside modest fashion in general has increased significantly over the past few years, not only in the Middle East, but globally."
Those Monday, Wednesday and Friday 'New In' emails are about to get even better.
