Naomi Campbell: Fashion for Relief
Supporting the Philippines
Naomi Campbell and photographer Jean-Paul Pietrus will hold a charity initiative in support of the Philippines, struck recently by the devastating Typhoon Haiyan.
As part of the project they plan to sell photos of the model online. The first image released from the selection is a profile shot, with Campbell's flowing hair taking centre stage, against a glossy green coat.
According to the photographer, who is half Filipino and will sign the limited edition prints, the idea for the initiative belongs to Naomi. "I chose this particular picture because it looks like Naomi unusually calm and peaceful, and that is what I wish to victims in the Philippines – peace of mind," he said.
Printed, signed and numbered photographs are currently being sold for £20 on his personal website. All proceeds will be donated to the Red Cross.
