Nadège Vanhee to take the reigns at Hermès?

If the leather Hermès sandal fits...

After the recent departure of Christophe Lemaireas, Nadège Vanhee, a strong talent with an even stronger track record is now a front runner to head up the French label's women’s ready-to-wear department

This week, after a four-year collaboration, Hermès International said it was parting ways with Christophe Lemaire, acknowledging his wish to dedicate his time to his signature label.

Now, it is understood from a source that his successor could possibly be Nadège Vanhee, who started her career at the Belgian accessories firm Delvaux and since has worked for Maison Martin Margiela in Paris, Céline as a senior designer and The Row as women's design director.

Both Hermès and Vanhee are staying tight lipped about the current situation, however the French luxury house has hinted it could make an announcement regarding the creative succession this week.
