Milan Fashion Week: Fendi Autumn/Winter 14
A standout show, fur real
After sealing an exclusive deal with Cara Delevingne earlier in the week to walk for this particular show during MFW AW14, Fendi delivered a chic edit of attire for cold weather.
Unsurprisingly, Delevingne surfaced as the lead in the opening look, huge fur hood included, with a 'mini Karl' Lagerfeld shaped fur toy dangling from her index finger. Another first for a fashion show came in the form of Google powered camera drones buzzing up and down the runway to record every moment.
The rest of the collection took on a patchwork palette of pinks and orange, with black as the key baseline for Autumn/Winter 14. Fur featured heavily, too.
Stylist Sam McKnight kept hair modern and structured, with folded layers of hair overlapping to create a thoroughly urban ponytail, whilst make-up was kept bare save for a smattering of shadow at the outer corner of the eye and blush pink glossy lips.
