Marion Cotillard designs a line of 'green' jewellery for Chopard
An ethically-sourced collaboration
Chopard's mission to become a sustainable luxury jewellery house has taken its next step, tapping iconic French actress Marion Cotillard to design a line of 'green' accessories. The collaboration will mark Chopard's first jewels using ethically-sourced coloured gemstones.
The Geneva-based luxury watch and jewellery giant announced the exciting new partnership at an exclusive lunch in Paris with Cotillard and Chopard co-president Caroline Sheufele present along with Colin Firth's wife, Livia who works as the creative director of brand consultancy Eco-Age – a company that has been working with Chopard since 2013 under the umbrella of Firth's 'Green Carpet Challenge.'
Cotillard was the first star to wear 'Green Carpet Challenge' pieces on the Cannes red carpet in 2013, the Oscar-winning actress will unveil the new 'Green' jewels created in collaboration with Chopard – which features a bracelet and a necklace – at the 2015 Cannes Film Festival in May.
