Marc Jacobs final campaign for Louis Vuitton
Mona Lisa smiles for a swan song
Although it's sad for us to see Marc Jacobs leave his beloved Louis Vuitton, he is definitely leaving with a bang. Paying tribute to all of his muses that have provided him with endless inspiration - expect to see the likes of Catherine Deneuve, Sofia Coppola, Gisele Bündchen, Fan Bingbing, Caroline de Maigret and Edie Campbell posing flawlessly for Louis Vuitton.
The women all posed in Steven Meisel's New York studio - sporting a Mona Lisa type smile - while leaning on the Louis Vuitton handbags. Of all the beautiful women who starred in the newest campaign, the one who stole the show was the reinvented Noé bag - originally created back in 1932 by Gaston-Louis Vuitton.
"It's not a melancholic campaign," Frédéric Winckler, Vuitton's communications and events director told WWD, "it's really celebrating women who inspire Marc."
