There's a new name to know in the Marc Jacobs International stable. LVMH owner has appointed Sebastian Suhl – currently CEO at Givenchy, another LVMH-owned brand – to take the same title at the growing American fashion house

Suceeding Bertrand Stalla-Bourdillon – who has acted as CEO for Marc Jacobs since 2006 – Suhl is though to have been drafted in to help the business realise its full potential since Marc Jacobs himself departed Louis Vuitton and went on board full time at his namesake company.

At Givenchy, Suhl will be replaced by Philippe Fortunato, formerly president and CEO of Louis Vuitton's North Asia region.

The big bosses at LVMH will no doubt be hoping that Suhl will inject the same retail momentum into the Jacobs' lines that he pioneered whilst at Givenchy.
