After reporting thatthe bespoke Calvin Klein dress that Lupita Nyong'o wore at the 87th Academy Awards was stolen from the London hotel room in West Hollywood last week, it has now been confirmed that the dress has been located

Lupita Nyong'o's breathtaking Calvin Klein Oscars creation was recovered at around 15:00hrs yesterday after an anonymous phone call from an informant regarding the crystal pearled encrusted dress was receieved. The caller directed the detectives who were working on the case to an abandoned bathroom on the second floor of the London Hotel. The dress was found hidden in a black garment back and according to the detectives, the thief in question had taken the dress to the garment district in Downtown L.A and after discovering that the pearls were in fact crystal pearls and not of the original proposed value they abandoned it.

Calvin Klein has commented on the feat saying: "This was an amazing collaboration between the brand and Lupita and the dress looked truly exquisite on her. One it's returned to us, we will be able to have the dress restored and archived, as it now represents an important moment for the brand."

Nyong'o has also been informed of the good news, and said: "Collaborating with Francisco Costa for my Oscar dress this year was such a special and unforgettable experience. I'm happy that it has been potentially recovered. It is a timeless and priceless piece of art."
