First Look: Louis Vuitton reveals Nicolas Ghesquière’s debut campaign
The French luxury label hits the fast lane
For the iconic fashion house's latest campaign for Autumn/Winter 14, Ghesquière chose not one, but three, world-renowned photographers to shoot it, including Annie Leibovitz, Bruce Weber, and Juergen Teller.
The trio snapped Charlotte Gainsbourg — Ghesquière's longtime muse — Liya Kedebe, Freja Beha Erichsen, and Jean Campbell, in an array of AW14 ads, which the designer dubbed 'Series 1'.
The theme behind the shoot was 'classic beauty meeting creative innovation' and was approached differently by each photographer, however with each style of photograph the images came together to build a beautiful and cohesive story.
As Gainsbourg's poses in front of the camera, she showcases the extreme wearability of Louis Vuitton's AW14 collection, in unison with Ghesquière's ultra-cool design sensibility.
