Renowned Japanese architect Jun Aoki has recently unveiled his design for Ginza’s Louis Vuitton storefront in Tokyo

Located at the former entrance to the city, the unique design was inspired by the history of the region and its close relationship with the Art Deco movement.

Based on Louis Vuitton's iconic Damier pattern, the 3-D design is derived from abstracted patterns and the decorative motifs of traditional TokyoThe building changes its appearance like a chameleon, throughout the day the building illustrates its ever-changing display of light and shadow, while at night LED lights, set off the geometric motifs, illuminating the impressive façade.
