Louis Vuitton reveals the first images of its Spring/Summer 2014 advertising campaign, via the label's Instagram account yesterday

Shot in South Africa, by legendary fashion-photographer Peter Lindbergh, Louis Vuitton's latest campaign features models Karen Elson, Edie Campbell, a variety of handbags and a giraffe.

The campaign, titled 'Spirit of Travel' uses the same headline used in the famous Vuitton ads shot by world-renowned photographer, Jean Larivière — which was shot in 17 different countries, from Greenland to Yemen over the past 30-year collaboration.

The latest campaign from the French fashion label has its famous model names roaming the South African plains, wearing looks from  both Vuitton's resort and spring collections — and was styled by fashion icon Carine Roitfeld.

The model's are not the only point of interest of the new images, as a majestic giraffe stands tall with them in the foreground. A cheetah, zebra, and lion cub also make appearances in the wild safari-like ads  — which will be fully released in April.
