London Fashion Week: Peter Pilotto Autumn/Winter 14
Variety is the key
Peter Pilotto and Christopher De Vos, who recently won the BFC Vogue Designer Fashion Fund prize, showed off their credentials with a strong Autumn/Winter 14 collection. Famous for their prints and experimental use of colour, the designer duo displayed a runway collection that focused on variety.
The designers hinted at a sporty aesthetic, opening the show with a skirt and jumper combination fashioned with graphic embroidery and a purple fur trim - as well as mini-dresses featuring mother of pearl details in red, blue and pink hues. Colourful prints and mountain motifs commanded attention on ski sweaters, coats and pencil skirts.
