London Fashion Week: Jonathan Saunders Autumn/Winter 14
Oversized jackets and statement stripes
Held in the grand settings of the Tate Britain, Jonathan Saunders noted that his show was "much more mean" than previous collections.
Saunders nodded to an old school theme, with oversized jackets fashioned in patchwork fabric and heavy wool sweaters, in a setting complete with 80s speakers and TV sets.
With inspiration from artists such as Robert Rauschenberg, Leigh Bower and Sarah Lucas, Saunders served up pinstripe shift dresses, statement stripes and boots designed in metallic or glitter.
On the beauty front, models displayed vibrant orange hues around their eyes along with red shades of lipstick.
