London College of Fashion, part of University of the Arts London, have announced – that for the first time – it will split the MA catwalk show into two parts...

The MA runway show will now split into two parts, in order to create standalone platforms for both its menswear and womenswear students.

The newly seperated menswear MA show will take place during London Collections: Men on January 9, at the Welsh Chapel on Shaftesbury Avenue in London. Whilst the womenswear showcase will happen on the eve of London Fashion Week, February 19.

Both shows will be styled by Anders Sølvsten Thomsen.

The London College of Fashion said that it decided to split the shows because the strength of the MA platform requires an equal platform and focus for both womenswear and menswear next year:

"The U.K. menswear sector is incredibly exciting and dynamic, and by holding this show we can provide a platform for our… Graduates who will be the future creative drivers of the industry.” Said Professor Frances Corner, head of London College of Fashion on the upcoming menswear show.
