First look: Level Shoe District unveil special project for Ramadan 2015
The world's largest shoe shop celebrates the Holy Month
This Ramadan Level Shoe District invites you on a journey inspired by Middle Eastern heritage with a special project in-store. Immerse yourself in the environment created by the light installation, designed by Danish artists, Julie Gad, using special and symbolic folding techniques on paper. This piece gives off a feeling of nostalgia, with it's influences rooted in Arabic architecture and landscape. Whilst the different levels and steps symbolise life's obstacles, which are often reflected upon during the Holy Month.
Level has also produced a stunning short film simply entitled The Journey shot in the remote desert location at the Al Sahra Desert Resort. Take a look below and discover the seasonal collection of regional abaya and thob designs from the likes of; Bedouin, Mauzan, The Kayys and Toby by Hatem Alakeel, all paired with a curated selection of footwear brands, because that is what Level is all about.
