First look: Kenzo's new campaign for Autumn/Winter 14
Starring models Guinevere Van Seenus and Robert McKinnon, the campaign has a distinct cinematic, unsettling vibe about it – a.k.a. very David Lynch. The new creative campaign marks the third time that Kenzo creative directors Humberto Leon and Carol Lim and Maurizio Cattelan, Pierpaolo Ferrari and Micol Talso of Toilet Paper magazine have all collaborated.
"We were interested in figuring out ways to evolve the past concepts into something that felt different but still in the spirit of both Kenzo and Toilet Paper. Since the collection was inspired by David Lynch, it was natural for us to incorporate some of the emotions we experience when seeing his work," said Lim.
The images will be revealed through a series of videos and GIFs on the 'Kenzine' blog and on Kenzo's social media accounts each day from Monday to Friday.
