Kelly Osbourne is launching her own fashion line this September
The punk princess heads to the retail world
"I believe that every time you wear something, you have a story of where you wore it, whether it be good or bad," said Kelly Osbourne at the Los Angeles office of her manufacturing partner, Jupi Corp.
Come September 25, the lavender-haired daughter of rocker Ozzy Osbourne will be causing some stir in the fashion world, as she launches Stories...By Kelly Osbourne. The 13 head-to-toe look collection will be sold on online retailer HSN – with prices that range from $55 to $170 – the clothes are inspired by Osbourne's British upbringing and offbeat/edgy style.
In the inaugural collection, the star's favourite piece is a black-and-white polka-dot jumpsuit, stitched out of stretchy polyester, with sleeves that can be buttoned up. There is also an English rose and Union Jack print seen amongst the drop-waist dresses and cotton-knit sweaters.
One month after the HSN launch, Osbourne will also be taking her Stories to Bluefly.com, which ships to the UK, Latin America and other foreign countries.
"My mission is not to be the number-one fashion designer in the world. I'm not trying to change or come up with anything that people haven't already done. I'm just trying to make fashion fair and make good quality basics available to all women."
