Kate Moss returns to Topshop
Official announcement is made
British supermodel Kate Moss began working with Topshop back in 2005, her first collection for the high-street concept being released to a shopping frenzy in 2006. The collaboration was a fantastic success and up until 2010 she created a total of 14 collections for the 'Kate Moss for Topshop' line – playing the role of both designer and model. Since the ending of the partnership Topshop owner, Sir Philip Green, has never ruled out Kate returning and now the time has come...
Moss will be presenting a new collection for the store launching in April 2014.
According to an insider, Kate Moss and Sir Philip Green decided to renew their collaboration when they were holidaying in the south of France in August this year. Moss has already started work on the collection, spending a few hours every day with Topshop creative director Kate Phelan and her creative team.
So far no details of the new collection have emerged: price point nor the actual range itself. The edit will however incorporate a variety of pieces – from ready-to-wear to accessories and shoes, all inspired by her own wardrobe and personal style.
The collection will be available at Topshop stores in 40 countries around the world, as well as online at Topshop.com, in 41 Nordstrom department stores and Galleries Lafayette store in Paris.
