First look: JW Anderson Pre-Fall 2015
"I was looking at the Sixties, looking at odd modernity," Jonathan Anderson said. "It's evoking nostalgia, but not making it decade specific." The collection was filled with high-waisted trousers that featured opulent flares which brushed the floor, and leather trenchcoats worn over cinched waists.
Standout looks included a camel-colour pair of gingham trousers, a wide furry waist belt with a matching bomber jacket paired with a red '60s-style blouse, as well as a beige jacket with oversized geometric buttons. The JW Anderson lineup also saw some experimentation with fabrics – his fuzzy teddy-bear like material – with some extra youthful qualities created with short shapes and floral skater dresses.
