Giorgio Armani has selected emerging designer Miaoran to showcase his collection during Milan Men's Fashion Week. Buro 24/7 Middle East has the story...

For over twelve years, Giorgio Armani has invited young emerging designers to his Armani Theatre in Milan to showcase their works during Milan Men's Fashion Week. This year the initiative sees the Milanese-based Miao Ran, present his eponymous collection. "Discovering new international talents is always interesting and inspiring because it allows me to explore different ideas and creative styles," said Giorgio Armani. "The designer I have chosen for this edition is Miaoran and I wish him a long, rewarding career," he confirmed.

Miaoran, the two-year-old label has gone from strength to strength in the international fashion market, crediting his oversized silhouettes and use of materials as a unique selling point. Speaking about the collaboration with Armani, Miaoran says: "I am grateful to Giorgio Armani for his support and for giving me the opportunity to present my collection at his Armani/Teatro. It's a great honour for a young designer who comes from afar and who has chosen Milan as the place to live and work".

Miaoran's collection will be showcased at the Armani Theatre during Milan Men's Fashion Week on June 18, 2016. Stay connected to Buro 24/7 Middle East for live reports from fashion week this season.
