Just in: Coach's Stuart Vevers awarded Designer of the Year
Another achievement for the designer
It's official! The American Apparel & Footwear Association (AAFA) has just announced that Coach's Creative Director, Stuart Vevers, as its Designer of the Year. The award, which was announced during the American Image Awards in New York, was in recognition of Vevers' visionary fashion direction, which saw him juxtaposing Coach's classic American DNA with contemporary culture.
Speaking about his achievement, Vevers said: "It is such an honour to be awarded AAFA's Designer of the Year. I'm very proud of what we have achieved at Coach during the last three years. To have our work recognised is truly a special moment."
Before his recent collaborations with Rodarte's Mulleavy sisters, Kate and Laura, Vevers was also nominated for CFDA's Fashion Award's Accessory Designer of the Year. Now, browse through Coach's Fall/Winter '17 runway show as seen at New York Fashion Week.
