Jonathan Saunders announced as Diane von Furstenberg's CCO
New creative force
Jonathan Saunders is headed to Diane von Furstenberg! Following the close of the designer's eponymous brand earlier this year, it's just been announced that he is indeed joining the House of DVF, effective immediately. Diane von Furstenberg, Founder and Chairwoman of Diane von Furstenberg Studio, LLC, confirmed the news saying: "I could not have found a cooler, more intelligent designer and I cannot wait to watch him shine as our Chief Creative Officer."
"Jonathan's extraordinary passion for colours and prints, his effortless designs, and his desire to make women feel beautiful make him the perfect creative force to lead DVF into the future," continued Furstenberg.
The move will see the London-born designer now head the Diane von Furstenberg portfolio of fashion and accessories, along with Paolo Riva, the brand's CEO. Speaking about his decision to join DVF, Saunders says: "The spirit with which this brand was founded is incredibly relevant today. I am thrilled to be part of its next chapter. Diane has a unique ability to deeply connect with women and I am excited to be working with Paolo on the future of the brand."
