Paris Fashion Week: Jean Paul Gaultier Front Row

A star-studded farewell

The fifth day of Paris fashion week was filled with emotion – happy and sad – as Jean Paul Gaultier presented his last prêt-à-porter show

Known as the “Hooligan of fashion", Jean-Paul Gaultier decided to leave the ready-to-wear industry with a bang. Gathering a fashionable audience to a Le Grand Rex – a cinema in Paris  guests sat and ate popcorn as they watched models parade around the runway in classic Gaultier corsets, printed dresses, and asymmetrical tuxedo jackets.

His farewell runway show, smoothly transfered into a party, as Gareth Pugh, Rick Owens, Jeremy Scott, Mira Duma, Pierre Cardin and many more celebrated an end of a fashion era with the designer himself.
