Designer Jason Wu and actress Julianne Moore have teamed up for 17th annual Key to the Cure campaign, an initiative launched by Saks Fifth Avenue and the Entertainment Industry Foundation (EIF). Find out more about the charitable collaboration here…

Saks Fifth Avenue together with the Entertainment Industry Foundation (EIF) are preparing to launch the 17th annual Key to the Cure campaign, in aid of cancer research. This year they have assembled a winning combination of New York based designer Jason Wu, and Oscar winning actress Julianne Moore to propel the campaign.

Moore is the face of the public campaign, modelling the specially designed t-shirt that Wu created. Inspired by midcentury artists, Wu says he began his design by using brush strokes, which where then scanned: "There are so many graphic Ts already out there. We felt it was really important to create one that was refined. And it's very loud and clear that it is for Key to the Cure."

Set to hit Saks stores and Website on October 1, proceeds of the $35 t-shirt will be ploughed into funding scientific research to find a cure for cancer. Moore has said that she is "honoured to work with the Entertainment Industry Foundation and Saks Fifth Avenue to highlight Stand Up to Cancer's mission to make everyone diagnosed with cancer a survivor."
