Yoox uses artificial intelligence to design its first in-house collection

Introducing 8 by Yoox
The launch of Yoox's new collection is twice as exciting. Here's why...

Italian online fashion retailer, Yoox, launched its very own label overnight and its debut collection features an achingly cool edit of everyday staples for both men and women.

Called 8 by Yoox, the collection is a milestone for the brand as it marks the retailer’s first in-house collection. It also highlights the brand’s leading approach to innovation as it was powered by artificial intelligence.

According to Fashionista, the brand worked “with its own proprietary AI tools, [and] combed fashion content across social media and fashion sites in key markets. It also looked at ‘predictive indicators’ of trends that are only beginning to emerge and analysed data from products sold on the site, customer feedback, industry buying trends and top trend searches.” From there, the brand’s design team used the data to create a mood board.

The collection includes ready-to-wear, accessories and footwear, as well as staple pieces that lend your wardrobe a more versatile edge.

8 by Yoox’s debut collection is now available on Yoox.com
